paediatric hypnotherapy

Paediatric hypnotherapy refers to children aged roughly between  4 and 11 years old. Although the duration of a paediatric hypnotherapy session is shorter than for an adult, there are many more factors to consider before embarking on this journey with your child, such as the age of the child, the important authority figures in the child's life, the child's interests, the presenting problem, the child's temperament, as well as any relevant medical history. 


It is for this reason, that we handle these cases on a case-by-case basis and therefore advised that you contact us via email before even discussing this modality with your child, so that we can prepare you for that very important first conversation with your child.


Hypnotherapy has been shown to assist with a variety of difficulties in children such as bed-wetting, thumb-sucking, phobias, social anxiety, attention difficulties and more. 


To achieve the best possible outcome, paediatric sessions will have to be done in-person.
